Easier Computing for Seniors
Looking for a better computer experience? Tired of slow computers that require annoying and complicated maintenance? Ones that are vulnerable to viruses and malware? Come listen to what Google has been doing to provide far better computers for students and seniors. They are called Chromebooks.
The HHICC and the Sun City Computer Club have informed their memberships about this ongoing revolution and they can also provide assistance to members who choose to make the transition. You’ll hear from Debbie Dennis, and HHICC past presidents Harvey Beeferman and Jack Wilfore.
Simpler, faster, safer, cheaper, just a more pleasant computing experience! Come, listen, and learn.
Driving Directions to TidePointe from Sea Pines Circle:
From Sea Pines Circle take Palmetto Bay Road to Point Comfort Road (1.1 miles) and turn left. Proceed on Point Comfort Road 0.2 mile and turn right onto TidePointe Way (there is a sign at the turn) and then proceed .3 mile to the Clubhouse. You may park in the parking lot under the Clubhouse or any available spot outside.
New Members should drop by for a review of our Club’s assets and resources. This is an opportunity for members to meet each other and learn about the Hilton Head Island Computer Club. A great starting point for those of us who don’t know what we don’t know about computers. If you haven’t attended one of these sessions yet, come and learn more about the Computer Club.

Jolyn Bowler will enhance her Twitter presentation from earlier this year and focus more on how to set up an account, how to maximize your security, how to search & select those you’d like to follow, how to get notifications on your phone of those you truly want to follow more closely. Twitter isn’t for everyone, but it can be an interesting way to communicate and express your opinion or see what others are thinking as well.
